Relaxing Getaway
★ ★ ★ ★ ★
We stayed 9 days at Mango House - 9 days of total relaxation & sun with our biggest decision being do we walk 5 minutes to the beautiful beach or just stay and enjoy the pool. Sophie was great
and always available via text to answer questions, help with reservations (dinner at Sugar Beach, private boat trip up the coast) or whatever else we needed. The southern area of the island is quiet
and you definitely need a car to explore and get to restaurants. We enjoyed doing some of our own cooking and the barbeque and outdoor pizza oven were great. Grocery stores are a short drive away and
Sophia helped us get some fresh fish from a local fisherman. The gardener at the house also brought us coconuts and fresh tomatoes from the house gardens. A couple suggestions if you go - make sure
to take bug spray as the mosquitoes come out when the sun begins to set and you will need it. Secondly, be prepared to buy bottled water to drink. Sophie leaves some in the fridge for when you arrive
but you will need it for drinking, to make coffee, etc during your stay. The tap water is fine for washing, brushing teeth, etc. Not big deal but good to know ahead. The only drawback for some could
be the neighborhood dogs who like to bark. It is a very quiet road but if someone walks by they do get a bit loud. Overall would definitely recommend Mango House.

« The house is outside of the things to see, so you need more then an hour to get to different spots. So you definitely need a car to get around. On the other hand, there aren't any tourists, it is
really calm and if you want to have some quite vacation, you will get them there. Sophie helped us by getting a car. One of her neighbors is renting them for a really good price. Way cheaper then on
the internet. So for us it was absolutely worth it. We had some chill days at the pool and some activities to get around. Sophie was always available and gave us some good tips what we need to see.
Absolutely recommand Sophie's house :) »
